Well, I guess another two weeks has gone by. Elise still isn't eating like she was at the end of the program. But we are working everyday with empty spoons and letting her feed herself table foods. Jason has been working the past 12 day/nights, so we only get to see each other a couple hours each day. He will be heading to Spfd this weekend for a high school reunion. And then when he gets back he will head straight to Gainesville for a week of orientation. He has been really busy. Elise and I keep our days filled with visits to the park and beach. I've been busy planning our move now that we have moved it up from the end of August to the first of August! Elise had a cardiology appt Friday and had a sedated echo (ultrasound) of her heart. They sedated her because 2 year old's get a little wiggly when you are trying to get a good picture of their heart function. So this way she slept and held very still. The Cardiologist was very happy and said that he could see improvement from the last echo, which he thought looked perfect. So now we are trying to decide if we should start decreasing her meds, or to let her outgrow of them. It's a hard decision, because we don't know if she is doing well because of the medicines, or because she is growing and her body is fixing itself. Either way it was good news, and we won't have to go to St. Louis this summer for a cardiac cath, which is much more invasive than an echo and a bazillion times more risky. I attached a couple pictures, one is her lounging in her Elmo chair watching her cartoons, and the other is from today. When she wakes up from her naps she feels she needs to bring all her bed buddies out with her, which makes changing her diaper a bit of a challenge. But she is just so damn cute trying to hold on to all of them. I hope you all have a great two weeks, summer is officially here! Love you all, Kristin

So Cute! She looks like such a big kid sitting in that chair...they grow up so fast don't they. Will try and call you again soon.
Elise is just too much. I don't think she has enough stuffed animals. Maybe a big Mickey Mouse would be a nice addition. The ones in the chair are just too much. Macy looked comfortable yet entertained.
Love,
Leslie and Joel
