20 Weeks!! We are half way there! It still doesn't seem to be "flying by" like everyone says it does, but we are getting closer little by little. And, this little girl has already hit the jackpot. Between the clothes mom and I have bought, and the truck load (literally) of clothes, toys, and a ton of other baby supplies I got from my cousin Mara this weekend, this kid is set.
I am totally wearing all maternity clothes now, and have been enjoying all the new clothes shopping I've been able to do. I'm lucky my scrubs for work are so big, I don't think I'll have to buy anything new for work.
Our next Ultrasound is this Friday, so we will post soon after that to let you know how everything looks, and hopefully have some new picks of her.
Until then,
Kristin

19 weeks 4 days
Yesterday Kristin had a second US done at work and got to see our baby girl. They took measurements to follow her growth. Her head circumference measured at 19 weeks 3 days. Right on target! Her humerus also measured at 19 weeks and 3 days. The femur measured at 21 weeks! I'm beginning to wonder where the extra height is coming from.

18 Weeks!
We are now 18 weeks and growing everyday. I started wearing maternity clothes for the first time last week. The stretchy waste band worked really well for all the food I ate over Thanksgiving week. I told my mom after Thanksgiving meal that it's wierd to look like you usually feel after eating a big holiday meal.
The baby is moving a lot and I can feel it when I'm in more positions now, other than just laying down. Even though I feel big, everyone keeps telling me, "I was so much bigger when I was 4 months! You're hardly showing at all!" Did anyone else hear that too? I guess that's supposed to make me fell better about getting bigger.
Mom and I went crib shopping last week, and it was a major learning experience for both if us. Mom learned that cribs now come as "convertibles" and I learned that after awhile they all start looking like baby jails. But we were able to narrow it down to a certain style, and are moving on from there. Wish us luck.
Until next time,
Kristin and Baby Drennan

OB visit
We went to OB today and saw his NP, everything checked out great. We listened to the baby again with the Doppler. It is a very active little one! I didn't check the rate, but the baby was moving quite a bit. I also working on possibly rotating w/ one of her doctor's partners, so that I will be well acquainted with St. John's L&D in time for the arrival of Baby Drennan.
