32 weeks old

We changed her NG tube again today, so here are a couple pics with nothing on her face.
She's showing off her double chin.
There's my happy girl.
This is Elise's new Exer-saucer given to her by my boss Shelly at Nursefinders. Elise was blown away by all there is to do while sitting in one place. It is even more fun for Jason and I to chase her oxygen tubing and IV around behind her as she spins in circles.
This is Jason's Uncle Sam who came up from Nashville with his wife, Aunt Jane, and daughter Kathryn. They didn't make it into a picture, Elise was picky about who was able to sit next to her that night. She gets a little fussy near her bedtime. But as you can see, Uncle Sam got some snuggling time in.
"All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, my two front teeth." Well, Elise had this song come true. Her two top front teeth have broken through giving her her first teeth. So far she is handling it well. A little more fussy in the evenings, so I have been giving her Tylenol to help with that. I'm surprised it was her top teeth that came in first, I have always read that the bottom come in first. Oh well, at least we have something. Another milestone that she reached this week is that today is day five of NO VOMITING! Let me repeat that, 5 days with no vomiting after eating! The doctors told us that some babies are pukey until 8 or 9 months. We are hoping that this isn't temporary. Our speech therapist told us that once they stop vomiting they usually do better with feeding, since they don't have the vomiting to dread each time. So lets keep our fingers crossed that is true. Elise was weighed last week with her immunization boosters and weighed in at 20lbs and 26inches long. Which would explain her disappearing second chin. We didn't get to go to Silver Dollar City as planned last week because is was just too cold. But we did get to meet up with my cousins and get MORE baby stuff from Claire (Jude) and Mara. A lot of toys for when Elise is a little older and tons more clothes for 12-24 months. And not just clothes, I mean to die for cute clothes. Elise is going to be the best dressed kid around. Jason goes to KC on Wed. to give a presentation to a class at his med school about Elise and her PH. He will go up and come back all in one day. Other than that we don't have a lot going on this week. I'll post again next Monday night. Love you all, Kristin

Kristin,
First of all, thank you for being so dedicated to posting. I feel that you-all are part of our family and I love being able to keep up with that beautiful little girl.
Secondly, the last picture in the exer-saucer is absolutely ADORABLE. She looks so excited and proud of herself! It just cracked me up!!!!!!!!!
We continue to pray for your family.
